Arkade (formerly known as Leaptrade) is an online video game trading community using secure payment options in both crypto and fiat.
Arkade branding represents a global, constant, unrestricted trade of games worldwide. It is where gamers can sell, buy and exchange their used and new items globally. This idea of a perpetual exchange of games is the key to Arkade.
Our goal was to bring life to that idea. In this brand, we transformed a joystick (a nostalgic gaming notion, just like the new brand name) into a planet with multiple orbiting "moons." The "moons" represent the continuous and unrestricted trade constantly moving from one corner to another corner of the globe.
This branding exercise started without a brand name. This made the process to be more conceptual. Design led the process entirely, defining the tone and style the brand name should have.
Arkade video-game nature and the rise of the metaverse phenomena made us be interested in creating a brand that could exist in the metaverse. The final brand work in both 3D and 2D contexts.
In this project, the branding process led the way. It created the brief that we used to find the correct brandname.
To create the brand, we worked with 3D and 2D tools to define shape, colors, and motion. The result is a vibrant, fun, and professional brand.
We crafted an intuitive and visually engaging interface for Arkade, reflecting the brand’s global and perpetual exchange theme. The UX/UI slides showcase seamless navigation, bold visuals, and easy transactions in both crypto and fiat currencies.
The design integrates Arkade’s orbiting “moons” concept, ensuring a dynamic yet accessible experience for gamers worldwide, whether on desktop or mobile.
