When not to automate
If your crews rarely post daily logs or photos, AI updates will be thin; fix the logging habit first. If you build a few custom homes a year and the owner talks to each client weekly, a phone call may be better than any summary. Pricing, change orders and warranty decisions stay with the owner or PM.

Does Buildertrend work with Zapier?
We did not find a Buildertrend app on Zapier. Buildertrend has native integrations with accounting tools such as QuickBooks Online and Xero. For other connections, ask Buildertrend about current integration options before building workarounds.
What would we measure?
Minutes per weekly client update, bills entered per hour, change order turnaround and homeowner messages asking where things stand. A drop in those status questions is a good sign the updates are working.
